Forex VPS in Toronto

Canadian brokers and the CAD pairs, close enough to New York to share most of its routing.

That round trip is the speed of light in fibre over the straight-line distance — the number no route can beat. Real fibre bends, and every hop adds to it, so treat it as a floor rather than a measurement. For measured figures, see the latency table.

We have not timed any broker from our Toronto node yet, so there is no measured figure to show here — that is a gap in our testing, not a verdict on the node. The latency table covers the 22 cities we have timed, and the support desk will measure your own broker from here on request.

The market here

Why traders put a server in Toronto

Canada has its own regulator, its own brokers and a currency that moves with oil as much as with the dollar. Toronto is the financial centre and sits close enough to New York that the routing is largely shared — which means a Canadian trader loses very little by being here rather than there, and gains a node under their own jurisdiction.

Pairs that move here

  • USD/CAD
  • CAD/JPY
  • EUR/CAD

Busiest 08:00–16:00 local, with New York.

  • Market Canada’s financial centre The TSX and most Canadian brokers are here.
  • Currency CAD tracks oil The loonie moves on crude as much as on the dollar.
  • Position Beside New York Short routes shared with the US session.

Questions

The things traders ask before they move

If yours is not here, the support desk answers around the clock — and it is engineers answering, not a script.

The service

5
What is a Forex VPS?

A server that runs your trading terminal around the clock, in a data centre, independently of your own computer. Your expert advisors keep working through reboots, power cuts and a closed laptop lid.

Who should use one?

Anyone whose orders depend on a machine staying online: traders running EAs, anyone forward-testing a strategy for weeks, anyone far enough from their broker that distance costs them fills, and anyone who is often away from their desk.

Will it reduce slippage?

It usually improves fills, because your terminal sits beside the broker rather than at the end of a home connection. We cannot promise slippage disappears — some of what causes it is outside anyone's control.

Which brokers does it work with?

All of them. The service is broker independent and built to give the best possible connection to every one of them.

Is it only for forex trading?

No. It is a Windows server, so you can install whatever you need — strategy development software, MetaTrader back ends, platforms that have nothing to do with forex. We preinstall the trading tools, you add the rest.

Setup and access

5
How long does setup take?

Orders go through a manual check first, for fraud and abuse — then the node builds from a prepared image. The policy allows thirty minutes to three hours; in practice it is usually the shorter end of that. Credentials arrive by email as soon as it is up.

Is there anything to configure?

No. The VPS arrives ready to use with Windows Server, MetaTrader 4 and 5, auto-start tools, a browser and a dedicated IP. Log in, sign in to your account, and you are trading.

Can I install my own software?

Yes, exactly as you would on any Windows PC — download it in the browser and run the installer. If something is awkward, open a ticket and an engineer will do it for you.

How do I connect?

Remote Desktop, from Windows, a Mac, a tablet or a phone. You can close the connection and everything on the server keeps running.

How close will I be to my broker?

That depends on the node you choose. The High Frequency plans are cross-connected for 0 to 5 ms to the major broker servers, and the latency table lists the real figure from every location so you can check before you buy.

Billing and moving in

5
Can you move me from my current host?

Yes, free of charge. Our engineers move your terminals, EAs, indicators and settings across, and you log back in to the same setup.

Can I change location later?

Yes, at no charge. Pick a different node whenever your broker changes or a closer one opens.

What if it does not work out?

Tell us. If we cannot solve the problem, you can ask for your money back — the refund policy page sets out what qualifies and by when.

How do I pay?

Card, PayPal and the usual processors, plus crypto — BTC, USDT, ETH, LTC and DOGE — which carries a 5% bonus credited on new orders.

Is there an affiliate programme?

Yes, and it is free to join. Commission starts at 15% of every referred sale, including renewals and upgrades, and rises to 30% on performance. Withdraw it or take it as account credit.
